The Harvard Film Archive Visiting Artists Collection is a collection of material documenting visitors to the HFA's cinematheque. The largest series of material includes streaming digital audio files recorded of each filmmaker visiting the HFA's cinematheque starting in 2008 which can largely be found on the Conversations section of the Harvard Film Archive website: https://harvardfilmarchive.org/conversations Recordings include pre-screening introductions by HFA curators and programmers and personal introductions by filmmakers as well as post-screening question and answer sessions between curators, programming staff, audience, and filmmakers. Additional materials include photographs and video recordings of select visitors.
